CEET Pilot Project Program | Special Call for ESI Faculty Applications | Awards up to $25,000
The Center of Excellence in Environmental Toxicology (CEET) is pleased to announce a Special Pilot Grant Competition for Early-Stage Investigators (ESIs) to support innovative Environmental Health Sciences research while fostering the career development of early-stage faculty investigators at Penn.
Program Highlights
• Open to early-stage standing and research faculty across all Penn schools.
For this competition, an Early-Stage Investigator (ESI) is a faculty investigator who is within 10 years of completing their terminal research degree or post-graduate clinical training and who has not previously received a substantial independent research award as a Principal Investigator (e.g., an NIH R01 or equivalent).
• No salary support for the faculty member is allowable.
• Awards of up to $25,000 for a 12-month project period.
• Two award types are available: Focused Research Award & Opportunity Award
